It’s that time of the month…
time to join up with Coco & Deborah for their ultimate coffee date.
1.Over coffee…
I’d tell you that the cat saga has ended.
I had one lovable girl tuxedo named Diamond and we decided that she was lonely so we got a 2nd one (a boy) named Domino. He turned out to be extremely active/naughty (esp. at night).
We got a 3rd tuxedo (girl) named Dali but after 4+ months had to re-home her (as she hated our other cats).
We recently adopted a kitten (boy). His name is Buddy. WE LOVE HIM!
They all get along (although Domino is still Domino).
2.Over coffee…
I’d tell you that the fall weather here has been amazing… as is the foliage!!
3.Over coffee…
I’d tell you that my Achilles is no worse and I decided to go back to my higher heel drop shoes for a while.
and although there was some discomfort before and after, the 8 mile run felt pretty good.
4.Over coffee…
I’d tell you that I’ve narrowed down my choice for a fall half marathon in the NE:

-
- Surftown Half Marathon & 5k (Westerly , RI) – Sept 12, 2027
Apple Harvest Ramble Half Marathon and 5K – (Harvard, MA) – Sept 26, 2027.PortRun Half Marathon and 5k (Newburyport, MA) – Sept 26, 2027SoNo Half Marathon & 5k (Norwalk, CT) – Oct 3, 2027
… and it will obviously be easier to find a place rent for 3 instead of 10 but I will really miss our big group.
Once the race registration is open, I will look for a house to rent.
5.Over coffee…
I’d tell you that I’m running a 15k on Sunday. It’s the farthest I run since my half in September…
I don’t feel prepared but as always I do my best to enjoy the race atmosphere
Happy Running! What’s new with you? Please share.

It’s Friday so I’m also linking up with bloggers, Me (My First 5K and More), Running With Attitude, Run Laugh Eat Pie, and Runs with Pugs,

I hope it’s happy. You never know with cats. It’s easier with a dog.

that is definitely a lot of cat drama! The fall weather was just gorgeous this year and I am sad to see it go along with the daylight

We got lucky with the weather and I’m sad to see it end…
Hopefully, the cat drama has ended but you never know with cats.

Yay! So happy the cats all get along! It was obviously the right choice to re-home Dali (although I’m sure it was sad). Buddy is so, so adorable and I’m amazed that the other cats accepted him already (Muffin was a huge grump for a long time after we got Foxy- but she eventually came around). It’s so nice to have a happy cat family.
The higher drop shoes should help your achilles, right? Good luck on your race- you should be fine if you just completed an 8 mile run.
I’m extremely envious of your weather!

Good luck with the race this weekend! The upcoming one in RI sounds so much fun. I need to get a group of friends that run so we can plan a racecation. My group of girls I travel with don’t typically run, so it’s just me doing tha ton our trips:) Love the kitties!!
