
It’s that time again. Time to get things off my chest with Marcia’s Runfessions at Marcia’s Healthy Slice
1.I runfess…
I’m not sure if I am in injury denial or I’m not injured.
2. I runfess…
I don’t know if it’s better to skip runs to rest my foot or do them so I’m not undertrained.
3. I runfess…
I almost wish that I sprained, broke or tore something. Then I wouldn’t be tempted to race.
By the time the weekend comes, it feels fine!?
4. I runfess…
I visited my chiro (whom I love) three times… My lower back feels better as do my calves, hamstrings, etc.
She tried her best with my foot… no improvement.
5. I runfess...
Trying to get an appt with an ortho or PT is no easy feat.
Finally got one for July 9 with ortho and July 17 with PT.
Since it improves everyday, will the soreness be gone by then??

An injury can be such a tricky thing – especially if it’s not something obvious. Hope the PT and ortho provide some answers.

Runner injury math, but you’d absolutely be tempted to race regardless. Hope ortho gets you answers

Ugh. I would keep those PT appointments anyway. They might be able to look for an underlying cause! Hang in there!
