It’s that time again. Time to get things off my chest with Marcia’s Runfessions at Marcia’s Healthy Slice
1.I runfess…
I was a little demoralized when those runners being mentored were faster then me (the mentor) in our practice run.
At least there were some walkers who finished after me. LOL
2. I runfess…
I cut short my volunteer stint at the expo in favor of a trail run.
Running is more important, right?
3. I runfess…
Every Thursday in the summer, there are local runs at different trails. I have to attend a Zoom STEM board meeting during 2 of them.
In this case, I may have to skip the run.

4. I runfess…
I thought I would be rarely assigned to work in NYC.
Guess what?
I think in the next year I have 9 assignments.
Time to plan my runs and tourist activities.
4. I runfess...
Speaking of NYC, one work assignment involves me missing a possible Florida trip (and race) in December.
I don’t think I can use a race as an excuse to change my work dates.

maybe this one the weekend after will be possible??
Happy Running! Anything to runfess this month? Please share.
It’s Friday so I’m also linking up with bloggers, Me (My First 5K and More), Running With Attitude, Run Laugh Eat Pie, and Runs with Pugs,
And don’t forget to link back to your hostesses and visit some other blogs!!

Oh I hope you don’t have to miss a FL trip due to work. Priorities, right?

I think it’s great that you volunteer your time to mentor new runners. You have a lot of experience to share and it doesn’t matter what your current pace is. Makes you very approachable and real!

You have so much running wisdom to share. I mentor a bunch of runners who are WAY faster than me now, too. It’s tough to get used to but that’s life as we get older.
I think having a planned vacation is a good reason to switch work assignments if you can. You know I never complain about being assigned to NYC!

I’m not complaining. I love NYC.

that’s a lot of work trips! At least there’s plenty to go while you’re “away on business.”

Ooooh. Where is the 5K Wine Run?
You have a lot going on! And yes, you thought NYC was going to be off the table! I feel like I see you post about it almost every other week (which I love!).
