It’s that time again. Time to get things off my chest with Marcia’s Runfessions at Marcia’s Healthy Slice…
1.I runfess…
I have amnesia. Have the spring temps always been this erratic?
One day 70 degrees and the next day 30 degrees.
Wind, rain, snow, sun…
2. I runfess…
This month used to be my favorite for scenic runs..
But where are all the flowers?
3. I runfess…
With THREE half marathons in one month, I hope I can keep up the mojo to run those long runs…
So I guess I’m glad that I do have TWO 10 mile races scheduled at the end of May.

May 17

4. I runfess…
I signed up for a 10k because it was only $15 (if you’ve never run it before)…
and it was a 10k (there aren’t many races at that distance.)
It is very hilly. Hope I won’t regret it too much.
4. I runfess…
My goal for running my last half marathon was to finish slower than 2:27.
Why?
That’s the qualifying rime for the NYC and Brooklyn half marathons (for my age group).
I didn’t want to be tempted to register.
Instead next spring, I signed up to run this one:
Happy Running! Anything to runfess this month? Please share.
It’s Friday so I’m also linking up with bloggers, Me (My First 5K and More), Running With Attitude, Run Laugh Eat Pie, and Runs with Pugs,

I think you will love the Savannah race! It was 80 here yesterday and I have no clue what to wear!

it was 85 one day and then 35 a few days later. It feltlike I was never properly dressed.

Ooh, you have your 2027 racecation! (or one of them, at least). That should be fun, and spring in Savannah will probably be lovely. Unlike spring in upstate NY, lol…

Savannah will be a lot of fun!
I have given up trying to figure out this weather. Spring is always a bit erractic in New England but I think this year was especially wild!

I feel like the weather has been crazier this year along with the world.

yes, this spring is acting much like winter did…totally unpredictable! It’s been both unseasonably cold & hot, usually on consecutive days…

yup. same here. Looking forward to some consistency and I promise not to complain when it’s too hot.

THREE half-marathons in one month! That’s quite a schedule! You’re definitely the racing queen, Darlene!

The crazy queen, for sure. But it wasn’t as as as I thought.

If it helps, I think the time qual is only guaranteed if you run it in an NYRR race – otherwise it’s first come first serve. Was that in NYC?
10 milers will be perfect training for all of those halfs!
We’ve had a very erratic spring, too!

I got in that way last year. If you don’t care you often get into that lottery.
So I better not enter.

Our temps are all over the place, too! What is going on?
I think you’re going to love the Savannah race! it’s really beautiful and they do a very nice set up for it.
That’s hilarious about not being tempted to go back in and register!
