Today’s Topic is: Do you like or dislike Halloween? Tell us why or what not.
Yes. Of course! What’s not to like?
- Decorations
I enjoy decorating the house for different seasons.
Pumpkins, black cats, witches…
- Leftover Candy
I NEVER have candy in the house.
So for Halloween, I buy what I like in case there is candy left.

On a related note:
But despite the headlines Linden made during her 26th marathon (and first as a master), it’s what she did before the race that has earned an equally impassioned response. At a press conference prior to the marathon, Runner’s World caught Linden enjoying some pre-race fuel—a mint and dark chocolate KitKat bar—in an unconventional way.
In this Runner’s World video, Linden demonstrated what she considers to be the proper method of eating a KitKat: biting into the whole bar while keeping your fingers on the wrapper, without ever breaking the bar into individual pieces and making contact with the chocolate.
I may need to change my pre-race fuel!!
- Cute Kids in Costumes
Our neighborhood has changed in recent years. The older folks (except us) have moved away and so now there are a lot of young kids.
Hence, many trick or treaters.

Can’t wait until my granddaughter is old enough.
- Themed Races or Runs

Happy Running! Do you like Halloween? Why or Why Not? Please share.

There is a link-up organized by Zenaida and Kim (Kooky Runner).

Since today is Tuesday, I’m linking up with these ladies.
I’m also linking up here:
with co-hosts Coach Debbie Runs, Confessions of a Mother Runner, Mile by Mile, Runs with Pugs, and Laura Norris

I agree with you- what’s not to love??? The inside of my house is decorated (we have a black cat theme) and I finally got the outside decorations put up. I don’t do a ton, just enough so that trick-or-treaters will know that our house is fun.
I think you’ll have to give out kit kats this year, so you can eat the leftovers before your marathon!

When my kids were still at home, halloween was our big decorating holiday. We always dressed up with the kids and got really into it. I kind of miss it!

Sounds like fun… now you need to run in costume.

I like Halloween, too, but I don’t do much with it these days. We don’t have many trick-or-treaters, so even that aspect is a bit lame, LOL. I do enjoy dressing in costume, though, at work or for Halloween parties.

Now that I have kids Halloween has been more fun. I never have time to decorate, but I like dressing up and trick or treating/giving out candy.

I’m one of the rare Scrooge’s (is that the right term at Halloween, or just Christmas?) who does not like Halloween. It’s such a big deal I find it overwhelming. I didn’t like Halloween as a kid (loved the candy, but hated going to door to door – maybe because I’m an introvert). My kids feel very differently and LOVE Halloween for all the obvious reasons, but I would skip this Halloween and every other Halloween for the rest of my life quite happily 🙂

I’m not huge on Halloween decorations but I love giving out candy to all of the cute kids dressed in costumes on Halloween!

I like Halloween though I don’t go all-out with the decorating. I do appreciate others that do. We get quite a few trick or treaters too. My husband usually sits outside so that our dogs don’t go crazy every time the doorbell rings.

I am the party pooper here! 🙂 I agree that seeing the kids in Halloween costumes is always great! I laughed when Desi said we needed to eat a KitKat like normal people.
