It’s that time of the month…
The leaves are changing but the temps are erratic…
Since it is Friday, here are five things that I’d like to share…
1. Over coffee…
I’d tell you that I will be away SIX weekends in a row (bet Sept 22 & Oct 28) !!! FOUR out of SIX include races.
- 5k & Half in Montreal,
- 5k in NYC,
- Paris,
- 20K in Paris,
- Bridal Shower in MA
- 5M in NYC (& Broadway Show)
- + Chris
Then I’m homebound for several months!! Hooray!
Are you a homebody or do you enjoy traveling?
2.Over coffee…
I’d tell you that I normally plan my big races way in advance but I haven’t signed up for any half marathons in 2019. I have a few on my radar…a Feb. Florida race, a March NYC race and a May local race.

Feb 10, 2019 (Melbourne, FL)

March 17, 2019 – if I get in??
Do you know which big races you are running in 2019?
3.Over coffee…
I’d tell you that I am easily tempted by any race in NYC. My tennis friends & I go to a Broadway show every October. This year we are going to see Pretty Woman on Oct. 28.
Of course, I found a race in Central Park that morning and signed up to run it.
Anyone running or have run this race?
4.Over coffee…
I’d tell you that speaking of NYC races, a Hot Chocolate 15K has always been on my bucket. I like the distance and you get a sweatshirt and other cool swag.
Anyone else ever run a Hot Chocolate race? Want to join me?
5.Over coffee…
I’d tell you that I am leaving tomorrow for France. The beginning of my vacation will be at my friend’s friends’ house in Sanguinet (near Bordeaux). I have no idea if I will get any running in but…
I am very excited to run a race in Paris on Oct. 14. It’s a dream come true!!

running past all the monuments and famous sights of Paris with over 30,000 other runners
Ever run in Paris?
It’s Friday so I’m also linking up with Running on Happy & Fairytales and Fitness for the Friday Five 2.0 linkup! Join in! Don’t forget to link back to your hostesses and visit some other bloggers.
Happy Running! Got anything to spill? Share it here!
I ran the Hot Chocolate 15K in Houston in 1/2018. Here, it was a great race! It was a 1 loop course, which I prefer. I have already registered for the 1/2019 one.

Glad to hear. I was excited about RnR Montreal and then disappointed in the actual experience. I hope the Brooklyn race is well-organized.

Have so much fun in Paris! I’ve run there but not raced, although the Paris Marathon hasn’t been ruled out for next year. Just waiting to see about London next week. I’d love to do a State park Half next year, although the elevations on lots of them look pretty brutal.

The Paris Marathon would be exciting although it is not a major. Hope you get into London and eventually Tokyo.
I definitely want to do a national park…for fun!!

I’ve been trying to figure out how to make the Philly Hot Chocolate work in my schedule next year – maybe I should look at NYC instead.
Have a wonderful time in Paris!

wow you sure do get around! I will be in NYC for a weekend in November. I should look to see if there is a shorter race to jump into. Better than running alone right? Thanks for linking up for coffee

You should. I’m sure you’ll find one. Or try a running tour. They’re great. Which weekend?

Yes, you should!
Or message me – happy to show you my running neighborhood if I’m in town.

YES I WANT TO JOIN YOU IN BROOKLYN!!!! But that’s little man’s birthday weekend, so I am going to have to take a pass.
I just told a friend today that I want to just take a year off and travel. She laughed at me and was like “you just can’t do that.” And I want to know whyyyyy. I’m a homebody, but I love traveling.

You know there’s a very good chance I’ll join you for hot chocolate. What’s the local May one?
Safe travels and have a great time. I’m all over in October too, but nowhere as interesting as France
Love your MOntreal mug

I hope you do. You’re doing Poland springs too, right?
May. Either Jog for Jugs or Steel Rail. They’re the sane weekend as Brooklyn.

I’m not in town for Poland Spring
I think I’m passing on Brooklyn Half next year

I like to travel but I also to be at home. I mostly hate to pack though, so all those trips in a row would stress me out. But France and Paris would be worth it!

Lucky you!!! I have not run in Paris but I did run Hot Chocolate here last year. It’s a fun race!

Sounds like a fun few weeks for you!
I ran a local hot chocolate race a few years ago, but not the ‘official’ one! It is on my to-do list!
Have so much fun in Paris! I have not been over there yet, but that would be so fun to run a race there!
Enjoy your fun schedule!

That’s a lot of traveling! I do a bit, too. It can be very exhausting. Enjoy your time in France! I have never been, but it definitely is on my bucket list. The Hot Chocolate races seem like a lot of fun. I am considering doing one here in Chicago this year.
