My topic today is: Summer Bucket List
I love the warm weather and I always have a list of things that I want to do. Not sure if they will happen but I hope many of them do.
1. Go Hiking
There a lots of nearby places to hike. I hope I can find the time.
2. Play Tennis
Again I travel so much for work that I rarely get a chance to play regularly. I hope to play on an occasional Tuesday with my friends.
3. Eat in an Outdoor Restaurant
I eat out often but it is rare that the weather is warm enough to eat outdoors.
4. Go to the Race Track
This has been a tradition with a former co-worker. We have breakfast at the Saratoga Flat Track and watch the horses warming up and then we stay for the races. If we win, we treat ourselves to dinner out as well.
5. Run a New Race
I race often. There re so many races in the summer that I enjoy but I always try to run a new one. Last year, it was the Whipple City 5k.
Happy Running! What’s on your summer bucket list?
I really wanna see an outdoor concert. That’s on my list every year and somehow never seems to happen.

Careful what you wish for, sometimes. We did that a few years back (in the Seattle area). Naturally it poured.

On mine is do more things, even though it’s hotter than the gates of hell most of the time.

I get it. When it is so hot, one would be tempted to stay indoors.

My bucket list this year is all about simply enjoying summer running because I missed out on a huge chunk of it last year.

I love reading about what is on everyone’s summer bucket lists I had 2 big vacations last summer(Disney world and Mexico), so I’m actually thinking about a more relaxed summer this year. However, going to the Horse races is definitely on my list! Do you go to Saritoga Springs?
Hey I’d love to chat with you about Lake George. We like to go boating and thought about traveling up to New York.

Yes, the races are in Saratoga in August.
Definitely you should travel to upstate NY and go to Bolton landing and on Lake George.

I don’t really have a summer bucket list. We enjoy eating outside at restaurants when we can.
Mostly I’m just looking forward to a vacation. It’s been a really long time. Oh, and we are going to a concert at Tanglewood next weekend, but we’re in the shed (see my comment to Marcia).

We saw Jimmy Buffet two summers in a row and we opted to be under cover (just in case it rained.). But I do like to go to Saratoga concerts. Just haven’t had the time. My hubby went to Alive at Five last night and he said that it was so windy.

It was quite lovely in the am when I went for a run and then it really cooled down.

I ran late afternoon. At least it wasn’t too cool to wear a skirt!

It is fun and a popular thing to do around here in August

I love eating outside — if the mosquitoes aren’t eating too! With all the races you do it’s hard to believe you can still find new ones. 😉

There are so many that I have not done yet.

I want to make it to one of the outdoor cinema nights at a local park, and I would like to visit the museum houses that are only open once a month (and next week for the last time until september!). I would also love to get to the outdoor pool in a neighboring park, but I would settle with just getting to the indoor pool once.

Sounds like some fun things to do.
We have a nearby pool but I never think of going there. It’s usually very crowded.

This is a fun bucket list! 🙂 We go hiking a lot in the summer. It’s a great time to explore the trails. Good luck checking everything off!

So much fun! It’s always great to set those goals for yourself, just to keep things fresh and exciting.
Our summer bucket list is fairly extensive, but I’m entertaining a 10 year old as well, which makes things a bit more challenging. We do want to add in hiking to our list!
