Erika @ MCM Mama Runs hosts Tuesdays on the Run with Marcia @ Marcia’s Healthy Slice and Patty @ My no-guilt life!
This week’s topic is Scenes From My Run.

I love to run in places where there is no traffic. That being said, here are my favorites. (Of course, I wish I lived somewhere were there were ocean views…)
- Corning Bike Path

along the Hudson R.
- Nisky Bike path

along the Mohawk R.
- The Crossings

a park with lots of paths
- Delmar Rail Trail

3 miles of it is now paved
- UAlbany

3 mile loop always clear and. well lit
- Washington Park, Albany

a lake and lots of paths (and hills)
- Colonie Town Park

trails and a bike path
Unfortunately during my work week, I often don’t get to run on my favorite routes. But there’s always the weekend!

But I take photos of you running! You’ll have to tell me sometime if you want a more “artistic” one!

I guess they’re usually close up to show off what I am wearing. I never think of artistic ones.

I don’t live anywhere near water, but we camp a lot in the spring, summer and fall, so there’s that. Some of the coolest photos I’ve shot were from the trails in or near our favorite campgrounds. Thanks for sharing your pretty pics!

I used to camp but that was before I was a runner. I bet you have had some beautiful runs.

When I used to fly for the airlines I liked over nighting In Albany bc our hotel was close to the Delmar Rail trail. Of course only liked that when It was warm out:)

That’s so cool. Running is so much nicer when it is not cold.

You have some great places to run. My favorite here is at near the beach. There is nothing quite like running and seeing the sea on your route.

I am jealous of anyone who lives close enough to run near the beach.

Awww giving me Albany nostalgia! I used to run a 3 mile loop in the Crossings allllll the time. Love it there. And I worked at UAlbany and would often run the loop as an after-work workout! 🙂

You have such great paths to run on! Reminds me a bit of what we get to run on when we visit our son in North Carolina. Here in Texas, I’m lucky to have a sidewalk on the side of a road!

In my nieghborhood, there are no sidewalks so I do run in the city on workdays.

Those look like lovely places to run. Unfortunately we don’t have many parks or trails near our house so I end up running through lots of neighborhoods…not terrible but not my favorite!

Most of the time after work, I have to resort to neighborhoods or in the city – not my favorite either.

You’ve got great places to run! Bike paths rule, as long as they don’t get too crowded. Thanks for linking up!

and there are no cars to watch out for and you don’t have to wait for traffic lights. I am lucky to have many to choose from.
