FFF: Top Memories from 2016

Three Trends that Will Transform Your Accounting Practice in 2016

It seems that everyone has been posting about 2016.

I have to say that it was not one of my better years.

I got laid off from a job that I loved and was unemployed for 3 months.  I did get another job that I currently have (but don’t love.)

Don’t get me started on the Presidential election…

But let’s focus on the good stuff…

  • Blogger Meet-up and Half Marathon in Panama City Fl.

  • Successful Coaching STEM Session and 5k

  • Dash to the Finish 5k in NYC with my Russian friend Anna and two of her friends

  • Hiking in the mountains near Lake George

  • Taking a Running Tour of Central Park, NY

  • Lots of time at our marina and on Lake George

  • Meeting the Mayor at the Freihofer Race for Women

  • Completing VCM Relay with my good friend (the late Andrea Halnon)

  • Winning my first Pie

  • Bus Trip to the Celebrate Life Half Marathon

  • A Half Marathon in Florida in March (where I froze)

  • I had the highest annual total of running miles!!

Happy Running! What are your favorite memories from 2016? Please share.

  1. I didn’t realize we were looking back at 2016 – is that a trend happening on Insta? it is good to look back sometimes, especially when it’s 10 years — easier to put the negative things in perspective and find the good things! In 2016 I did my first parkrun! I ran the Paris Marathon for the 2nd time. I had foot surgery (surprise surprise). I ran in Liverpool as well. I ran Berlin and Athens marathons. I went to NY and ran the RnR Brooklyn Half. And I ran Dublin for the RnR Dublin Half Marathon. And that was also the year I did my exams and became certified in Sports Massage (which I don’t do thanks to the year 2020…)Thanks for the prompt to go a bit down memory lane x
