TT: Fall Racing Plans

Today’s Topic is: What are your Fall running plans and/or race schedule?

You may be tired of hearing this but my running is mostly to train for this BIG race:

Nov. 5, 2023

However, I do have a few races on my schedule before and after:

  • A Race-cation to run this half marathon:

  • A local 5k a week later:

Barn to Bridge Fall Fest 5K Race Recap | My First 5K and More...

  • May add another Half Marathon as a training run on Oct. 8:

  • Of course, a Thanksgiving Turkey Trot:

  • And finally a new race in Tampa, Florida in early Dec.

2023 Hot Chocolate Run - Tampa

Happy Running! What are your Fall running/racing plans? Please share.

  1. Ha, most people would think a marathon is enough, but you’ve got a bunch of other fun things lined up as well! That finger lakes half should be amazing, and I’m intrigued by the Tampa race! How did you pick that one?

  2. Yay for the Hot Chocolate race! They’re so fun, and the swag is nice. You probably remember, I ran the Chicago HC 15K with Deborah a couple years ago…great course & awesome memories:-)

  3. You have alot of fun races coming up. The one in Tampa will be lovely come December when it is cold everywhere else. Goodluck at New York. I hope your training is going well! That was so much fun when we roomed together but I have no desire to do a marathon anytime soon. My friend is running NYC this year for the first time and he has not run more than 4 miles all year. He is gonna struggle so much! I’ll be surprised if he even starts. I know you will do great!!!

    • Yikes… I’d be really nervous if I didn’t get all the long runs in.

Yes, I enjoyed meeting you and hope we can meet up again sometime.

It’s funny to be running a HOT chocolate race in a warmer climate.
