It’s that time of the month…
to join up with Coco & Deborah for their ultimate coffee date.
Over coffee…
I’d tell you that I am so sick of this cold weather that to cheer myself up, I bought a new skirt and tank top (like a really need new running clothes…) When will I be able to wear them??? It doesn’t look like anytime in the near future. I may have to resort to the treadmill just to wear my new clothes!!!

my new tank
Have you bought any new spring/summer running clothes?
Over coffee…
I’d tell you that I always buy the SAME Skirt Sports running skirt – Gym Girl Ultra. It’s not too long and not too short. I hate to have too much of my thighs showing.
But I took a big risk, I bought my first shorter skirt – the Lioness. You may never see me wear it in public…
Is it too short for someone almost 65 yrs old?
Over coffee…
I’d tell that I schedule my rest days according to my work schedule. That means if I can run, I do and if I don’t have time, I don’t. Unfortunately sometimes I run 3 days in a row and sometimes I rest 3 days in a row…
How do you schedule your runs and rest days?
Over coffee…
I’d tell you that I paid $$ to join the Freihofer Training Challenge even though of the TEN Mondays runs, due to work, I can only attend THREE!!! One each month…. UGH!!!! So disappointed because I think the drills would help me get faster.
I probably wasted money, right?
Happy Running! Got anything to spill? Share it here!
Aww, totally wear the new outfit on the ‘mill, you need to enjoy the Skirt Sports goodness!
I am also a huge GGU fan, so that’s what I basically have tons of. 🙂 Been considering the Lioness or Jette, but I dunno I am so comfy in the Gym Girl!

Heck no! That skirt is not too short for you! Besides, you don’t even come close to looking like a 63 year old anyway!! I have the Lioness skirt and love it… you will too. I’ve been wanting to try the Gym Girl skirt …what size do you buy? I guess it runs the same as the other skirts?

Thanks for the encouragement. I think the ggu runs a little looser. Also different patterns fit differently. It depends how you like your clothes. I prefer them loose than too right so I often buy a medium although I could probably fit into a small.

It’s so disappointing when work gets in the way of stuff you want to do!!!! It took me a couple of years to find a yoga class that I could attend because most are during the day! I wouldn’t worry about your skirt being too short, if you are running you are running!

We’ll see. I may not wear it to race but I’ll wear it to run.
Right now my work schedule is a bummer.

What a bummer that you can’t make more of the training runs. I’d probably be pissed that I paid money for something I couldn’t do regularly. I hope the weather turns spring soon so you can wear your new clothes. I don’t wear running skirts very often, but I’d probably prefer the not-too-long, not-too-short ones. I tried the Crystal Ball Frapp and really kinda liked it. 🙂

I am but it can be helped. I’m hoping for spring. It’s 30 now so I guess not today

I wear the Lioness skirt, in black, over capris – but it’s not too short for me and I know you’ll look great in it!

I’m sick of the cold too, haha. The Lioness skirt is super cute! I may have to snag one one of these days (to welcome the hopefully to-be-warming-up weather?! Someday!?!?).
I definitely schedule my workout days based on my work schedule too! I wish I could be a little more consistent! :[
