Every Wednesday, the Deb from Deb Runs will be providing a word about which to blog. Kind of like a nice little blog prompt. Posts can be fitness or health related, but don’t have to be, so really anyone can play along. Just be sure to link up with InLinkz on Deb’s main post, and share the love by reading and commenting on other’s participant’s posts.
This week’s word is DECORATE.
I love this time of year. The holiday decorations always put me in a good mood. And the best way to see them is to go for a walk or a run.
Here are some I’ve seen:
In Washington Park – Albany, NY
In Panama City Beach, FL
- never seen so many blow up items
In NYC:
Normally, I could show you pics from my house. But I am a slacker this year. I’ve been away two weekends in a row and I am way behind …on everything.
Of course as a runner, these are my favorite decorations this year:
- Sarasota Music Half – Feb
Happy Running! Do you decorate your house? What are your favorite decorated places or favorite decorations?
I definitely like you take on today’s Wednesday Word, I especially like your last set of decorations! 😉 My goal is to get my Christmas directing done during Thanksgiving weekend. Most years I meet that goal, including this years. My Christmas cards, though? I haven’t even ordered them!
Thanks for linking up!

You have seen some pretty sights! I really enjoy looking at lights, I love my Tacky Light run 🙂
I can’t even imagine how many medals you collected this year lol
I am not even putting a tree up this year. I just can’t get that much spirit going.

The shorter races don’t give medals here though I have won many AG ones.
I probably won’t put up a tree this year either.

Someday I’ll actually get into NYC and see the lights! Although I can’t say as I would have wanted to do it last Sunday.
I haven’t had a run through the neighborhood lights yet either, and driving home last Sat there are a whole lot of them!

It didn’t snow in NYC until after 5pm and it wasn’t that cold down there. It actually, though, tiring was a very nice day.

How beautiful! We definitely decorate the house, and I think my fave spot is the mantle over the fireplace. We have lit garland that sprawls across the top of it, and of course, the stockings.:) The stocking holders = legit!

I know. Our fireplace does not have a mantle. I have to hang the stockings from our TV stand.

I love decorating for the holidays, but it seems that each year I do a little less….and have less help (if any LOL).

I think I like the decorated palm trees best of all the outdoor decorations! Maybe because we don’t have them here?
You had a very well decorated year!

I love the Christmas lights on the palm tree! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before. I guess I’m usually somewhere cold for the holidays.

It was nice to be there. Now I’m back in the frigid NE.

I love the lighted palm tree! I wish I had one in my back yard. I do decorate both inside and out, although my outdoor decor is becoming less and less. I like to drive around and look at lights around our city. I haven’t had a chance to do that yet.
