  1. Great List. I didn’t know there was a Champlain Bridge 5k, I definetly want to do it. It’s like 5 miles from my house. And I want to do the Adirondack distance race too. I know ajh did it last year and liked it.

  2. My husband asked me if I wanted to do the Freihofer’s Run for Women, his mom runs it every year. I’m not sure yet if I want to do it, though. Since it’s all women it would be weird to run in a race without my husband, but I’m sure he would be a good spectator!

We have a few races on our 2012 race schedule. We were going to do the Hangover Half but that is not looking like it is going to happen because of my injury. If I do happen to recover and get some good training runs in before then, we may still do it or the 5K. We are registered for the Seneca 7 77.7 mile relay in April and the Rock ‘n’ Roll Chicago Half Marathon in July. We are definitely registering for the Cleveland Half Marathon in May the Boilermaker 15K in July and Wineglass Marathon in September. I’m sure there will be some other random races in there as well, but those are the big ones!

Oh and I might try to redeem myself with the Stockade-athon next year.

    • The Freihofer’s is awesome – so many elites… so many women! I heard the Hangover Half is boring & it’s very cold so I’m going to pass on that one. You have some big races planned . Good Luck!

  3. You have already some great races on your list for next year. I haven’t decided yet, I’ve planned some in January/February. Going to have a different approach to my running next year: no goals and don’t look further ahead than 4 months at a time.
