It’s that time of the month…

time to join up with Coco & Deborah for their ultimate coffee date.
1.Over coffee…
I’d tell you that instead taking expensive vacations, we are doing some home improvements.
During the heat wave, we were BBQing dinner every night
And once the morning temps cooled down, I will be eating my breakfast outside.
2. Over coffee…
I’d tell you that my favorite part of getting a new Trex deck was replacing our old hot tub with a new one…
3.Over coffee…
I’d tell you that we used to love going on the boat EVERY weekend. For many reasons (weather, our friends have left the marina, other interests) we have only spent TWO Days up there…
4.Over coffee…
I’d tell you that I’m not a trail racer. I’m not even a trail runner.
Yet, I’ve run one race that was not on the road already this year…
and there will be one more in December (in Florida).
5.Over coffee…
I’d tell you that I already planned a race-cation for next March with a friend…

I’m excited as I’ve always wanted to visit there and tour the Biltmore Estate.
Happy Running! What’s new with you? Please share.
It’s Friday so I’m also linking up with bloggers, Me (My First 5K and More), Running With Attitude, Run Laugh Eat Pie, Runs with Pugs, and the Running Teacher!
So Join in!
And don’t forget to link back to your hostesses and visit some other blogs!!

Ooh Asheville is somewhere I would love to visit. That race is on my birthday, and I have a big race of my own planned for that day.
Your new deck is so beautiful- I can see why you don’t feel the need to take the boat out as much. You can just relax at home. And that hot tub looks amazing.

Yes. I know. I’ll be thinking of you.
But it’s costly to have a boat so we need to use it more.

ooh I loved the Asheville half! I wonder if they do the same course? That was my PR half a few years ago and a fun town to visit.
I cannot wait to enjoy coffee outside again! Your hot tub looks great -enjoy

The Biltmore estate is amazing! It’s amazing to imagine a life living in those kind of accommodations, especially back in the day.

It’s been too hot here to BBQ or even cook. It’s the kind of heat where all I want to do is lay on the ground. Ugh.
Congrats on the new deck and hot tub! You’re going to get a lot of use out of those!
Asheville is stunning. I sobbed when I got to see the Biltmore Estate. Sobbed. You are going to love it.

Visiting Ashville and touring the Biltmore Estate is on our bucket list for sometime in the next year. I’ve wanted to visit there for years.
Isn’t it funny how things change, like with your boat time? I can totally understand it not being as fun when not as many friends are out on their boats. We gave up our Virginia Tech season football tickets when all of our friends did. Suddenly, we were in Blacksburg for the weekend, but without friends to go out to dinner or tailgate with.

Ahh, you’re making me want to fill my hot tub in with water, haha. I haven’t done anything to it since we moved in because I don’t feel like I have the bandwidth to keep up on the water/chlorine levels, etc., but maybe it’s not as complicated as it seems…
I hope you have fun with your upcoming races! Asheville is one of my favorite places. It’s beautiful there! :]
