Since today is Tuesday, I’m linking up with these wonderful ladies:
Erika @ MCM Mama Runs, Marcia @ Marcia’s Healthy Slice and Patty @ My no-guilt life for
Today’s Topic is: Holiday Gift List:
I got this card from a fellow blogger about 7 years ago and it still applies:
Other things that you can buy me:
- Socks (Balega is my preference)
- Fuel (specifically Salted Caramel GU)
- Gloves (I lose them so usually wear ones from the $1 store)
- Tops (most of mine have race logos on them)
- GARMIN (I have an Apple Watch but still wear my 205 for races and its battery life is waning)
- Treadmill (just in case we have a snowy icy winter)
- $$$$ so I can sign up for more races
Happy Running! What’s on your list for this year?
Like you would use a treadmill even if you had one . . .

You’re probably right. I may if I had a TV nearby.

I do have a flat screen tv on the wall opposite my treadmill. Otherwise it WOULD be gathering dust.
They’re not all that expensive these days. Mine was (my MIL had given us some money), but OTOH, it’s also served me well for about 15 years.

I have one that is about 30 years old. It stopped working (probably from lack of use) and it is still in the basement. Our basement is cold & damp and unfinished and no cable access). (There’s no place upstairs for a tm) So I think I would rather go to my free gym. (I don’t enjoy staying home anyway) I will be missing my old job this winter where there was a treadmill (that no one used.)

We have a raised ranch; there is no basement, but there is a family room & that’s where my treadmill is.Actually, it’s not so much a family room as my home gym.
Like I said, there’s a flatscreen opposite it, and then there’s another flatscreen (which I never use, but Lloyd does) in the office off of the family room.
He knows that I have to have my treadmill.

We have a family room. But we watch tv there and it’s off the kitchen. I wouldn’t put a tm there.

What you just described is our living room. 🙂

We have a living room but rarely use it unless we have company.

Our living room is more like a family room & it is well used.

I’d just like cold hard cash so I can go on a spending spree at the Houston expo in January!

That would be real nice.

Nice list! I like the idea of $$$ for race entries, flights, and post race cocktails! 🙂

Your list looks perfectly reasonable to me! I wished my Garmin 205 dead for years. Then I got into tri and I got the 920XT and never looked back. I never liked the 205.

I’m attached to it – it was my first LOL. I got used to the size and like that you can see all 4 screens at once.

Great list! Interesting to see your comment on the Apple Watch/Garmin. I want to want an Apple Watch, but I don’t think I really do. Garmin’s come out with so many new models in the past year, there’s a perfect one for everybody.

It’s great. But it’s doesn’t replace the garmin as a running Watch.

Oooh, I like the way you think. I would like to add that I also need a watch and some money for races. 🙂

I also have tops on my wish list. Because like you, all my tops have race logos on them and I do not like wearing those while I teach my group fitness classes since the classes have nothing to do with that.
