A passionate person “shows or expresses strong beliefs, interest, or enthusiasm.”

Yes, of course, what I am passionate about is my running!

What are signs of a passionate runner?

Shares her excitement with others and encourages them.

mentoring some newbie runners in 2010

running buddy for the GOTR program

encouraging my tennis friend to run

volunteering for the STEM program

Often puts running first.

running on vacations

running instead of boating

running instead of playing tennis while on a tennis vacation

Runs in all conditions

with foot stress fracture

after ankle surgery & not running/walking for 5 months

13.1 miles with sleet/freezing rain

in the freezing cold

Always gives it her all.

trying to beat a 10 year old

bloody knee and all

i’m such a fan of the word passion and use it often, especially when thinking/journaling about my life and what i feel i’m created for. running is absolutely one of my passions too (as you know — we’ve reconnected around our loves for running & NYC!). i love that you have so many running pix of yourself!

I love passionate people! It means they are strong-willed and powerful! Only someone with great self knowledge and motivation can be this amazing! Congratulations on being an awesome runner! 🙂
