This week’s topic is:
GOALS
FOR

So here are my 15:
- Do not get injured.
- Run 3-4 times a week ALL YEAR.
- Continue fitting in tennis and/or yoga once a week.
- Do some upper body exercises.
- Finish all of my races under 10 minutes per mile (except half marathons)
-
Run at least one race per month and at least 20 for the year.
-
Run a race in another state.
- Run in NYC.
- Get several Age Group awards.
- PR in a half marathon.
- PR at another distance.
- Join a running group or two.
- Volunteer.
- Run over 900 miles.
-
Continue to blog almost everyday.
I think my goals are pretty conservative. I think they are ALL achievable.
The toughest will be #10 & #11. The most important will be #1. If #1 happens, then #6 and #14 can follow.

Happy Running. Happy New Year! What is your biggest goal for 2015?

These are some great goals- I agree that the time goals can be the toughest. But with 20 races this year Im sure you will be able to do it!

You goals definitely sound very attainable. I think many people expect too much of themselves and then never meet their goals and become disappointed. I would love to run a race every mth, but I thk the winter mths would be very hard to achieve those.

I think you will achieve all of your goals! But, you are absolutely right…number 1 has to happen for all others to follow. I hope to stay injury free this year too!

My biggest one for the year? Finishing Sunday’s marathon. And after that, it’s all gravy 🙂

Excellent goals! I love number 1 – that’s my number one goal as well. I’d love to get under 10 minute miles for anything shorter than a half. It’s been a while since I was there…

As usual, I’m tired just reading your goals! Still working on my own, at least I have a few for January now; that’s a start. Good luck!
