Not sure how I came across your blog, but it’s an interesting read. You are so lucky having so many races throughout the year. Are they are just 5k’s or do some have longer distances also?

Mostly 5ks, one 3.5 mile race and I signed up for a 10 k on Oct 23.

Nice, 10k is my pet distance, but I’m aiming for 1/2 marathon next year.

From what I’ve read, you’re more than ready physically – it’s getting to grips with the mental side. Just enjoy the first one and don’t put too much pressure on yourself.

Running my first 5K tomorrow. Very excited. I’ve got terrible knees, so outdoor running is not my favorite. I’ve done 2 outside runs as practice, so w/ the help of an advil, I ought to be okay. lol
