Oh I am definitely a weather wimp! I’ve been cutting my runs short ( or cutting them out all together!) all summer long because I find it so tough to run in the heat and humidity. Can’t wait for those nice cool fall mornings.

You can definitely include me in the weather wimp category. I run mostly at night, around 8:30 or so because it is so much cooler than any other time in the day, even early in the morning. Of course, it’s not helpful for training for any race because races always usually start at 8 or 9 it seems! I agree you shouldn’t run the day before your race! Rest and good luck, I’m sure you will do great!

I don’t mind the rain, but I do mind heat and humidity as it makes my legs feel like lead, so I usually take an early morning run in summer. I’m enjoying our lovely fresh winter air while I can!

I am NOT a weather wimp. Truly.

There’s no shame in playing it safe! It’s not like one day less of running is going to ruin your whole summer of it! I’d much rather miss a day or two because of humidity than end up in the ER with heat stroke or heat exhaustion!
