I have a suggestion: instead of burning your crutches, symbolic though it may be, give them away. My Hubby’s legal assistant had a year of foot injuries and had to wear a boot forever, when she finally got rid of it I broke my sesamoid. I wore her old boot (which sounds weird, I know) for six weeks and it was nice to know that A) someone else had dealt with worse, and B) was running. It made the whole experience easier to handle.
And you know SOMEBODY will need those crutches. We all beat up our bodies so much. LOL

“Burn” was a figure of speech. (Besides they are metal.) I will keep them because you never know when I or somene else will need them. I am hoping by the end of the month it won’t be for this injury.

Don’t burn the crutches. They are useful. I put my crutches on the scooter to avoid that the cats sleep on the saddle.
No swimming?

Sad to say I am not a swimmer. However if I can’t run this summer, I may start.
