No, don’t taper for the race. Do whatever helps you most for your next half.

I don’t have a taper planned for my half on October 16th. My last long run is the week before. The only thing is that the weekday runs will be shorter the week before. I did plan a recovery the week after the half: a week of no running. I think I need that more than tapering, not just physical but also mental.
