Last Run in Bolton Landing

It was a sad day.  I knew it would come eventually.  Our marina closed today so it was the last day to go out onto the lake.

It was also the last day I would run around Bolton 😦

For most of the summer I ran around the Sagamore grounds and the last few weeks when I’ve been trying to lengthen my runs, I’ve been running south on 9N.

So today I decided to combine them…6k around the Sagamore and 4 k down 9N.

It was chilly when we arrived …only in the 40’s but the sun went in and out so I still opted to wear shorts & a long sleeve shirt.  I was fine.  The only problem was that the foliage was so beautiful, I had to keep stopping to take photos.

After I got back, we went out on the boat.  Unfortunately, the docks had been taken in so we couldn’t picnic.  We just rode around the lake admiring the foliage & barbecued back in Bolton. We then walked around town for the last time and went to Lake George Village for ice cream.

Happy “Fall” Running!
