Since it’s Tuesday, I’m joining the link-up organized by Zenaida and Kim (Kooky Runner)
The Topic for today is: Brag Time: Share some of your most popular running related blog posts!
Not sure if any would be considered “popular” since I do not have a huge following but here are my “favorites”:
- The Older Adult Onset Runner – how/why I became a runner
- Yes, You Will Get Slower – advice for the older runner re: pace
- My Favorite Hometown Race – reasons why I run the Freihofer Run for Women every year
- TCS NYC Marathon Recap – a long summary of my one and only marathon experience
- Naples Half Marathon Report – a recap of my first half marathon
- My Favorite Instagram Posts – from 2015 no less but I still like these photos
The most viewed posts on my blog were:
I’m also linking up here:
Formerly the Running Coaches’ Corner, it’s back with new co-hosts Coach Debbie Runs, Running on Happy, Confessions of a Mother Runner, Mile by Mile, Runs with Pugs, and Fauxrunner.
Happy Running! If you blog, which is your favorite or most popular post? Which of my blog posts have you liked the most? Please share.
That race recap from Naples in 2011! I recognise all the places in your photos. The half marathon was the one race we never did because we were never there in January. I would have loved to have done that one!
Which hotel did you stay in when you were there?

I just read your Naples Half Recap! What an awesome first Half you had and I see you’ve been running in skirts for a long time! Loved your pink skirt with the floral top. Beautiful.

Thanks. My first half was my first skirt run. And I haven’t changed since.

I loved reading your “adult onset” and first half recap! My first half was terrible, but for some reason even that made me want to run more of them.

Race recaps are always some of my favorite posts to go back and read! One of my more popular posts is a roundup of marathon training tips for the first-timer!

Yes yes. I agree. I love reading everyone’s race recaps too.

I agree with Janelle…I enjoy rereading old race recaps. Since I’ve done so many races multiple times, it’s always interesting comparing the different experiences from each of the “same” race.

Exactly. One of the reasons I always write all the details. It also helps others who do the same races.

I always find it interesting which posts become the most viewed on my sight. For a long time it was a guest post that someone else wrote about eating Paleo for runners. I guess alot of people were searching for that a few years ago! Now I get alot of views on my post about the benefits of running 3 days a week.

I’m still giggling at the typo on your IG link (2105). 🙂
Running a marathon is a great achievement — as is starting & continuing to run.

It is fun to go back and read race recaps good and bad ones. Ah the ode to skirt sports it was a great ride with them. Thanks for linking up!

The best thing about SS in addition to the skirt pockets are the people I have met because of the skirt.

Oh, how fun! It’s so cool to look back to see what we loved vs what our readers loved.
I remember reading all about your foot saga. I know you’re not 100% but you have come so far.
