We are runners and that doesn’t mean that we always feel like running.
But why do we run on those days that we don’t feel like it?
My topic today is: Five Reasons Why You Are Running Today
1.You are training for a race and it’s on your plan.
2.Rain is in the forecast for tomorrow and the day after…
3. You had a stressful day at work or at home.
4. You need to burn off what you ate last night or what you are going to eat today.
5. Social Media — You need to post about your run.
There are even more reasons. I could go on and on…
Go for that run today… because
Happy Running! Why are you running today? Any other reasons why you run even though you don’t feel like it?
Yep, all of those reasons! LOL!

LOL. To steal David’s Twitter handle — because I can — you never know what tomorrow will bring so you have to seize the day.

haha, good point! Impending terrible weather is usually the one that’ll make me go sooner rather than later!

I am not running today. I thought about not running yesterday and doing it today, but I’d already eaten more carbs than normal preparing for the run so yes! I ran anyway because of what I ate.
I’m pretty sure I haven’t wanted to do any of my runs this month it’s been that bad.

Not running today. Too tired. Too hot. No time. Hopefully not the same excuses for tomorrow.

I run because my schedule says it’s a run day. You mean there’s an option to not run? LOL, I didn’t think so. 😉

I was planning to go for a run this morning but your post has me thinking “why am I really going to run, especially when I don’t feel like it”…lol.

I personally don’t believe in running to ‘burn off calories’ because I have learned that is treating my body in a negative way and then running becomes a punishment. I would rather run for enjoyment and to have fun training for races 😉

You are absolutely right about running. It should be for fun.

When you tally up your why’s it makes your why nots seem useless. Great job
