Highlights:
Although running achievements are personal. You cross the finish line on your own and your time is what you earn yourself. However, my most memorable racing experiences this past year were those that I shared with others.

Celebrate Life Half Marathon (& Relay) with Judy, Barbara & a whole busload of runners

Lake George Half Marathon with Barbara

Vermont City Marathon Relay with AJH

Ramblefest Half Marathon with Alyssa

Dash to the Finish 5k with the Russians, Anna, Tatiana & Julia

Panama City Beach Half Marathon with Holly, Tricia, Wendy, Karen, Mary Beth, Marcia & Judy for the #HoLottaFun weekend
Having fun is much more important than the numbers.
And 2016 was a good year for me!!
Since it is also Thursday, I’m linking up today with Amanda for Thinking Out Loud Thursday.
Happy Running! How did your year turn out by the numbers? What were your most memorable running experiences?
We track different things. 🙂 I don’t even know how many races I ran, but it’s definitely somewhere around a quarter of yours.
And there you go — you ran one more state than I did this year!

That makes 7. Good thing all 50 is not a goal.

I’m only up to 12! Denise is interested in NOLA, btw, although things are very iffy on the personal side.

I could give her my registration. I doubt I will ever run it. I don’t like to travel unless I have a place to stay (friends or a girls weekend). Tricia stays in her RV so that wouldn’t work out for me.
I may do Gasparilla in Feb next year. MB runs it and it’s not far from my friends in Sarasota.

I actually think being ready for 13.1 by the end of March could be a bit much for her, but there is a 5k too.
However both her dog & her father have serious illnesses, so I’m not holding my breath.
