I’d tell you that even though we’ve had a warm winter with no snow, I am more than ready for spring.
Instead, we may have snow on Sunday and gusty winds AND I have to run 11 miles!
I am not looking forward to running in this. Be prepared because if the roads look slippery, I’m bailing. Not worth an injury.
Over coffee or tea…
I’d tell you that these star offers for Starbucks are still killing me. I can’t stop myself. But at least I earned a free drink this week.
I’d tell you that although, tennis gets in the way of my running and many times while I am playing, I wish I were running, now that I can’t play (tennis elbow), I really miss it.
Isn’t that the way?
I have been doing my exercises and even taped it but it seems the same. My brain knows that I should skip another week but my heart says…
I’d tell you that you bloggers are enablers. You guys make me want to run a half marathon every weekend (You know who you are!!)
I am trying to control myself…
- Dec 2015 – EAU West Palm – check
- Feb 2016 – Sarasota Music – check
- Mar 2016 – Celebrate Life – check
- April 2016 Lake George – signed up
- May 2016 – Vermont City Relay – signed up
- Aug 2016 – Camp Chingachgook – possibly but it’s so hilly
- Sept 2016 – ZOOMA Cape Cod – signed up
- Nov 2016 – Myaaka (in FL) – tempting (to visit friends)
- Dec 2015 – Panama City – definitely
- Mar 2017 – Treasure Coast (in FL) – maybe (to visit friends)
Happy Running! Anything to spill?
It never even occurred to me to bail on tomorrow. I’m certainly not expecting a PR, not with those conditions! Plus I have to leave pretty darn early. I wonder if my friends who signed up will actually turn up?

It depends. If it is slippery, I may wait to run later. Who knows? It may be nothing but it will be cold and windy. Not what I had in mind for an April race. It’s supposed to be just as cold and windy next weekend when I have another race & 12 miles to run.

I have a couple of other friends coming, too, and one is bringing another friend. We’ve just been messaging & she plans to be there. Gonna hope they got it wrong, Friday was supposed to be a total washout and it wasn’t!

Barbara will be there too. And many others that i know. Don’t know who will show if the weather is bad, though. I probably will since I live so close but if there are 50 mph wind gusts, not sure if I want to tackle 6 more miles in that. We’ll see.

We have the same weather as you tomorrow and I also have a 10 mile race with Coco. Ugh just makes us tougher I guess. I figure i am going to just hide behind everyone else and hope they block the wind. Also ready for spring and skirts! Thanks for linking up

Your workplace has a great initiative ! Bummer there was nothing for second place.
I really hope the weather improves for you tomorrow. It is going to be hot here in France. But heat is better than rain, so I shouldn’t complain.
Sorry about your elbow 😦

See you so need your very own Starbucks personalized cup! That is pretty cool they do that challenge at work! I mean if you’re healthy they utilize you more with less sick days and all!
I hope the weather turns out fine for yall tomorrow but it is not worth it to get it done on slippery ground! You sound like me on the races! OMG there are so many I want to do, just not enough time and funds to do them all!
I can’t wait to see you in December though! 🙂

We had those conditions here yesterday and it was brutal! Luckily I got my run in before it got really bad. I don’t think it will be slippery, just wet. At least that’s how it was here. Enjoy….

It wasn’t bad. The snow was only on the grass. it got windier as the day progressed.

Um, who you calling an enabler? What the old saying? “It’s like the pot calling the kettle black?” Anyhoo — you are my enabler. LOL . I wanted that honey latte and they were OUT when I was there. Out! Can you believe? December will be a blast.

I’m running ZOOMA Cape Cod too! I’m so looking forward to it! This weather has been crazy, running 11 miles in THAT had to be rough. The Cherry Blossom Run was sooo windy this morning! I always wanted to learn to play tennis, but I stink at it, haha!
