I like winter running but it doesn’t like me apparently. More snow here today.

Our winters aren’t that bad, so I don’t mind training during these months. However, we usually have to train through the wicked heat/humidity of summer/fall for our half marathons – quite honestly, I don’t there there’s very many places where you CAN train for a race and not have to deal with yucky weather. Just one more reason running makes us stronger, right?

True! But I prefer the heat to the cold.

I hate running in the cold. If it’s below 30 or too windy, then forget it. I don’t do rain, sleet, or snow either. The result of this is I spend a lot of time on the treadmill or indoor track at our local YMCA. Sucks. Cause I love running outside! I don’t really have room to complain like you do though. Georgia weather is mostly ideal. Time for you to relocate girl! 😉

I’m seriously considering risking life and limb by running outside. This staring at a concrete wall thing, sucks! Soon…soon.

I am just thankful that last year was a mile winter when I was full marathon training. And since I am injured right now – I haven’t been running much during this miserable cold winter.
