Three Things Thursday


 

1.  Winter’s back.  It was 30 degrees this morning so off to the gym I went.  We may get snow flurries tonight. Spring, please come back soon!!!! 

2.  I feel better than yesterday but I do have a cold and I am not sleeping well.  I dragged myself through 3 sets of tennis last night and then 3 miles on the treadmill this morning.  I refuse to let it get the best of me. 

3.  I’m nervous for my first 5k race of the season.  I’ve run 32 of them so I know I can but now I don’t just want to finish.  I want to PR.  I’ve never run this course so I don’t know if it’s hilly or not.  It’s going to be cold.  What do I wear and not overdress?  It’s crazy.  I feel crappy so if I do it, that’s good, right?  That’s what I’m going to keep telling myself….
